CenturyLink Center is a multi-use arena with a capacity of about 14,000 seats situated in the state of Louisiana. A deal has been reached so that the naming rights go to the telephone company CenturyLink. The opening of the arena was in 2000 and it was home to the ice hockey team Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and the AFL team BossierShreveport Battle Wings.

CenturyLink Center which is situated in the Red River in Bossier City has always been home to big events. For instance, the men's basketball tournament of the Southland Conference in 2001 was held there. Also, the tournament of NCAA Women's Basketball was held in the venue including the first and second round. In addition, the eventual champion Texas A&M games were held in the venue.
The venue is among the famous arenas in northern Louisiana. The opening of the venue was in 2000, and since then it has hosted several hot events. For instance, in 2002, the venue hosted a preseason game of NHL between the Atlanta Thrashers and the Nashville Predators. For the first time, in January 2007, the All-Star game of the CHL that was hosted by the Mudbugs was played in the arena.

The venue is among the adaptable arenas and could be switched to host sporting games, concerts, or theatrical shows. For example, the floor is always opened for concerts, while the upper and lower levels could host every event.
